Yoga for Legs Tone Up!

30min to a stronger and balanced lower body. Not only is a toned lower body great for summer, but strengthening the lower body can improve hip stability. We will work on lateral hip and gluteal strengthening in this 30min class. Stabilizing the hip joint is important because it assists in stabilizing the knee joint and decreasing knee pain.

Power Yoga - Yoga for a Powerful Core 25min

Abs Abs Abs?? 25min Powerful Core - Yoga for Core Strength! - All Levels Core is not just those muscles showing your abs. It encompasses the front, side and back - lats, obliques, erectors, and of course the traverse abdominis (TVA) - washboard abs! This quick 25min yoga video / yoga class will guide you through a some yoga movements to strength the core in its entirety! Short and Sweet! We will work on some balancing, strength, and stretch it out at the end!

Yoga for Runners - Pre and Post run Stretch

Hey yogis! As the weather is warming up, many of you are probably looking to running outside; or maybe you're heading out for a walk, biking, golfing ... Whatever activity you're looking to do it is important to properly warm up the body to avoid injuries or over exertion. In this 2 part series, I will guide you through a 15min warm up and then a 25min cool down to get your body warmed and stretched out for a safe and speedy workout recovery!

Yoga for Low Back Pain Release

A common issue with people standing or sitting all day. Low back pain and tight hips can occur to almost anyone at any point in their lives. The area below the ribs , the lumbar region can get tight and become very intense. Very common for people working standing or desk jobs. While there is no "cure", you can incorporate poses from this short practice to reduce the pain. We will also practice some nice hip flexor opening exercises to counter the "flexion" motion of our hips. Perfect way to end a day and give your body a much needed stretch, twist, and relaxation.

Yoga for Strong Legs and Balanced Body - Intermediate / Moderate - 20 min 

Hello all ~ Welcome to this 20min quickie practice to fire up the legs and bring balance to your body! This short and sweet yoga video / yoga class will amp up your practice to build strength and fire up the muscles in your lower body. Great way to power up and elevate your energy level!

Energizing Backbend Flow - Intermediate 45min

Here's a 45min energizing back bend, heart opening flow! Prepare your body safely into peak poses backbends! We will explore some peak poses in backbends and variations of some classic poses. This class is intermediate / advanced class, but options and variations will be provided.

Vinyasa Flow  - Advanced Hip Opener Flow - 25 min

This yoga video / class will guide you through a 25 min yoga sequence to get your body prepared to open deeper into hip openers, hip extensions and a few surprises! We will work on some shoulder openers and balance to prep ourselves for the peak poses. As an advanced or stronger energy class, options and variations will be provided verbally. Props are optional. It is expected you are familiar with some of the basic movements and names of postures for a safe practice. 

Hatha Yoga - Moving Feels Good Beginners - 60 min

60min Beginner Hatha Flow. Yoga for movement, mobility. "Moving feels Good" - from our LIVE session last week on March 21, 2020. Hey friends and yogis! This yoga video / yoga class will guide you through a 60m sequence taking you through a full class focusing on moving your body through various movements aimed at improving your mobility and facilitating movement. A slightly more 'challenging' beginners' class, but don't worry, lots of options and variations are provided to help you find your beat and rhythm!

Power Yoga - Power Up! - 60 min

From our LIVE session last week on March 22, 2020. Hey friends and yogis! This yoga video / yoga class will guide you through a 60m vinyasa flow sequence. A full yoga class focusing on building strength in our body and increasing ranges of movement in a safe manner. A movement based class for all levels of yogis. Don't worry if something is new to you, as long as you stay moving, that is KEY! If you want to explore deeper variations, please do! Options and variations are provided to help you find your own eb and flow!

Hatha Yoga - Flexibility for Beginners, Hips, Shoulders, Back - 25 min

New to yoga? Need a stretch? Want to work on some yoga postures to help you get started on your yoga journey, or just looking for some exercises to open/stretch hips, shoulders and back? This yoga video / class will guide you through a a beginners practice focusing on building or developing your flexibility. This beginner's practice, a flexibility yoga sequence shows and walks you through simple step by step instructions and variations!

Hatha Yoga - Moving Through Basics - 20 min

This yoga video / class is designed with beginners in mind. Also suitable for those looking for a gentle sequenced movement to get the body moving.  We breakdown basic postures and work through foundations. Props are optional but suggested for a safe and sustainable practice. 

Yin Yoga - Rest and Restore - 30 min

This yoga video / class will guide you through a yin practice where we aim to help the body relax and quiet the mind. Yin is practiced slowly (the quiet practice) where we hold the postures for anywhere from 2 to 5, or even up to 7 minutes. Targeting the deeper layers of the muscles. Suitable for Beginners! Props are optional but suggested for a peaceful and supported practice. Have fun in your yoga practice. Always remember to listen to your body during each session. Yoga instructions are meant to be a guidance and not prescriptive movement. So please, move with care!

Morning Flow Yoga - All Levels - 15 min

This yoga video / class will guide you through a quick yoga sequence to get your body moving in the morning or whenever you need a pick-me-up. This sequence was designed to move all parts of the body within a short amount of time, taking your body through various ranges of motions. As an all level class, options and variations will be provided. Props are optional but not mandatory! Let's get moving! ~ Namaste ~ Kat

Yin Yoga - Hips and Shoulders - 60 min

New to yoga? Yin yoga offers a slow paced practice with clear instructions and lots of guidance. 

Athletes looking for a stretch? Yin yoga is practiced by lots of professional level athletes as part of their recovery. 

 

This yoga video / class will guide you through a yin practice where we aim to help the body relax and quiet the mind.

Move your Body - Hatha for Beginners (30 min)

Welcome to my yoga channel dedicated to bring you classes of all lengths for all levels! Just beginning your yoga journey? Looking for a quick pick-me-up? Searching for a class where you don't go on your head? This yoga video / class is for you! Move your body focuses on spinal movements, and easy yoga postures to open, stretch, and create space in the body. Props are highly recommended: - 1 or 2 block - 1 strap (towel, scarf, belt...etc. are also suitable!) Let's get moving! ~ Namaste ~ Kat

Hips for Days! Hips and Hamstrings flow (all levels 25min)

This yoga video / class aims to open and stretch our lower body - the hips and hamstrings. Always a highly requested target area for my students in class. Get ready to show your hips some TLC in this multi-level class. Props are optional but not mandatory, options and variations will provide an accessible class for all levels.
